Christmas concert

Tonight was Ajay and Maddox's school Christmas concert.  This year they are in the choir at school, so we got to see them sing quite a few songs at the concert.

Crazy day at the mall

Today we braved the mall because we going to meet Anton's sister Ghislaine and brother Francois for lunch.  Boy, was that a bad decision because everything was packed.  We did get a chance to go see Santa.  Amara for the first time was excited to see Santa and willingly sat on his lap.  We also saw Spider-Man, and he excited the kids just as much as Santa.

My Birthday!

Happy Birthday to me!!! This evening we celebrated my birthday and went out for supper at Ye's Buffet.  We had never been there before and were unsure how the kids would like it.  We happy to find out though that they loved it, even Amara my picky eater had lots of food.

Happy 8th birthday Ajay and Maddox!

We celebrated Ajay and Maddox's birthday this weekend.  We had eleven boys including Ajay and Maddox.  A big thanks goes out to Julie, who helped me survive that many children.  This year was the theme of Star Wars since the new movie is coming out next month.

We played a game where we tried a balloon to their ankles and they had to stomp on each other's balloon.  The last person with a balloon wins.

We also played keep up the balloon with foam light sabers.

I made a Death Star pinata.

The string holding up the pinata broke before the pinata did so I had to hold it.  Luckily they didn't hit me.

Happy Halloween

This year the boys decided to be scary!  Ajay is a zombie and Maddox is the grim reaper.  Amara is Elsa from Frozen, but she decided that Elsa should also be a fire fighter and a pirate.  She would say "Ar Matey" randomly.

We treat or treated with their friend Dylan and his buddy for a bit.

Basement 1

Our basement is slowly becoming a family room.  The boys decided that they want to have their birthday party at our house this year so we figured we may need to use the basement to entertain almost a dozen boys.  

I had been wanting a pantry for some time and now here it is!

Anton is working hard on his week off.

Luckily for us Anton is a drywall estimator so we were able to get a great deal on the drywall.

We still need to work on the bulkheads before the taping and mudding with be done.

I realized that I haven't posted anything since the boys started school.  I'm pretty sure we have done something since then.

Amara decided that this mannequin at Old Navy was her friend.

We enjoyed a nice walk around the garden.

Ajay and Maddox are taking swimming lessons with school.  The thing that they hate most about swimming is the change rooms.... All the naked people walking around!

I babysat my niece Josie for the first time for a couple hours last weekend.
