Easter!

Easter was a couple of weeks ago, but I have been a little slow with getting my pictures online.

This year the kids all got Easter baskets with flip flops and either a t-shirt (the boys) or dress (Amara) and lots of chocolate and candy. Yum!

Hair cut time!

I tend to wait a long time in between my hair cuts (like a year, so my hair gets pretty long.  I just recently got it cut and dyed and I am loving it.  Check out the before and after.

Our new office setup

We had been thinking about getting a better office set-up for a long time and now that Anton is working on a new desktop computer we needed a good place to put it. Before our office just consisted of some tables with computers on them, now, thanks to Ikea we have a beautiful tabletop and plenty of storage space.

The whole desk setup is from Ikea.
The countertop is Karlby, the drawers
are Alex and the upper cabinets are Besta.
The boxes and magazine holders are also from Ikea.

Here are the computer parts that Anton used for the computer

He is working hard!

I still get some room on the desk for my laptop too!

Our first Jets game!

We were offered Jets tickets from Anton's work just this afternoon so we had to scramble to find a babysitter for Amara.  Big Thanks to Auntie Julie!!
Ajay, Maddox and I had never been to a game before so this was quite a treat, especially because we were only 8 rows up and right on the centre line, plus we had VIP reserved parking too.
It almost looked like the Jets might win, but the New York Islanders beat them in overtime.

Go Jets Go!

We were right behind the penalty boxes.

My little artist

Amara is my little artist.  She loves to draw and colour.  I find that she works really hard at colouring in the lines.  At this age my boys were still very much scribblers.

She wanted me to draw Peppa Pig and her family so she could colour it in.

She said the biggest person in the middle was herself.

Here is yesterday's version of Peppa's family.  She said their eyes are red because they are wearing goggles.  Ajay and Maddox think they have bloody eyes.

Disney On Ice 2016

My sister Julie and I took Amara to her first ever Disney On Ice this weekend.  This year the theme was "Dare to Dream"  with Tiana from "The Princess and the frog", Snow White, Cinderella and Rupunzel from "Tangled".  Amara's favorite was Minnie Mouse who was there as well with some of her buddies to talk between the stories.

All dressed and ready to go hours before showtime!

Hanging out with the girls!

Amara really wanted a wand.

The seven dwarfs... They were rather large for dwarfs though.

Basement 2

Lately I have been working on my basement again after taking a break for the holiday season.  I have painted it Behr paint- Toasty Gray and Polaris Blue.
