A day at the Zoo

The boys and I went to the zoo today with our friends Tara, Eliott and Ella.  All the kids had a great time checking out all the animals, though the drinking fountain and ramp were exciting also.

We had a great time earlier today when Oma and Opa came over to our house and we took a walk to Assiniboine Park's new playground.  The playground was packed today with school groups so it was harder to enjoy the playground as we had in the rain just after it opened.

Teddy Bears' Picnic!

We took the boys to the Teddy Bears' Picnic this morning.    Maddox got to have his face painted like spider-man, and Ajay got spirals on his cheeks.  I think maybe Ajay's face painter was a little bit of a slacker. Luckily Ajay did not seem to care.  We also got all kinds of free stuff like stickers, hats, tattoos, band-aids and even flower seeds.

 We have been waiting quite some time for the new nature playground to open.  Even though it was raining today, we decided to brave it and check the playground out.  

So many tulips reminded me of my time in the Netherlands.

The boys first soccer game

Luckily the rain held off tonight so that the boys finally got to play in their first soccer game. They are on the green team called the "Green Grapes".  Ajay and Maddox both enjoyed playing and got the hang of the game quickly.  Maddox almost scored a goal too.

Happy Easter!

We have been having a fun Easter weekend so far, though a little exhausting for the boys as they have colds again and no naps during the day.  We went to my parents yesterday for some Easter activities including a easter egg hunt and egg decorating.  I'm glad I did not try the egg decorating by myself.  The more supervision the better, otherwise I could have some really colorful boys and furniture.

The Trampoline!!

We put up the trampoline yesterday after a long winter of waiting for it to be nice.  The boys love it.  Ajay even told me him that he wanted to stay in there forever.  The boys are also good fitness trainers for Anton and I because they are constantly wanting us to be in there with them.
