Family Cabin weekend

This year we went to my cousins Jeff and Shannon's cabin for the weekend.  On the way to the cabin we checked out Gimli.

At the beach we enjoyed skipping rocks, playing at the playground and had a scavenger hunt.

Cars, cars, cars

We have been looking for a new vehicle lately.  We have been shopping very slowly because I don't really need a vehicle in the summer time, but as the weather gets cooler I will be wanting one a little bit more.

The big sale!

This past week the kids and their friend Dylan went into business.  First they were selling chalk art, then moved onto other art as well as beverages (Fruitopia and iced tea). They made $30.75 in the day + that they were out there.

Thunder Rapids

We took the kids along with Uncle Gilles to Thunder Rapids on the long weekend.  The boys loved driving the junior karts.

We also all drove the double carts each with a kid in with us.  Amara really enjoyed being a passenger.  She did not enjoy getting sprayed with water at the bumper boats very much though.

Summer fun!

I have been told that I haven't posted anything for a while.  So here is a couple different things we have been doing for the last couple weeks.

I took the kids on the double decker bus around the park.

We enjoyed a little time playing at the forks playground.

We had a play date at Alex and Ashlee's house.

We had a play date with our soccer friends.

We enjoyed the parade in Steinbach.

Zoo trip

The zoo recently opened the "Journey to Churchill" exhibit, so we had to go check it out.
