Potty Training - the next stage

Potty training has been going good.  One day my husband Anton and I just decided to let the boys know that they had to wear underwear during the day and diapers when they were sleeping.  No ifs ands or buts.  In the beginning there were some accidents, but since then they have been telling us that they need to use the potty.  I also gave them stickers when they successfully peed or pooped on the potty.  When they reached certain milestones they then got a chocolate bar.  I also found that they were more willing to use the potty when I did not make them use the baby potty seat on the regular seat.  I guess they wanted to feel like a big kid.

Boo at the Zoo

This last Saturday we took the boys to "Boo at the Zoo" in Assinboine Park Zoo.  This is the second year that we have taken the boys, though last year they were strapped to their stroller and unable to fully enjoy all the event had to offer.

We were joined by their Uncle Gilles, his girlfriend Carrie and her kids Ashtyn and Keyshawn.  All four of the kids really love each other, and enjoy keeping each others company.

Ajay and Maddox went on their very first pony ride.  It was only round and round in a circle, but that still counts right?

The boys did get scared a couple times.  We took them into the Creepy Castle and the fun house, which they both found to be scary because of the noises and darkness.  But overall they had a great time.
