Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone!  We have been having a great Christmas so far. Here are a couple pictures of what we have been up to for the last couple days.

Ajay's Christmas card to Anton and myself

Maddox's Christmas card.  The reindeer is wearing a scarf, though at first I thought he was clapping his paws.  Either way both cards are really cute.

We had Anton's side of the family at our house.

Turducken!

Turducken - Is a mystical creature that many people have heard of but not very many have seen.  Actually it is a chicken stuffed into a duck which is stuffed into a turkey.  It was a bit more work than a normal turkey since we had to take all the bones except for the turkeys wings and legs out, but it was worth it.

Christmas Concert

This past month the boys were in their first school Christmas concert.  Each class represented a different area of the world.  The kindergarten class represented Mexico.  They sang Feliz Navidad and another song about the hat they got for Christmas was too big (the sombrero).  They were all very cute.

Sneak peek

Ajay and Maddox's kindergarten teacher recently emailed me several photos of them at school.  It is great to get a little sneak peek of the boys at work in school.

Working on pinatas for their "mexico" theme.

In the month of December, their class theme was gingerbread houses/men.

Gingerbread house

This past weekend Ajay and I made a gingerbread house.  Well, actually we bought a pre-baked house from the grocery store which we then put together and decorated with candy.

Amara's first solid food

Amara has been very interested in food lately so we decided it was time to see how she would like some solid food of her own.  We started off with some rice cereal, which she loved.  I thought maybe she would not finish the bowl because she didn't really know how to do it yet, but to my surprise she ate everything.
