SNOW!!!

We are having such nice weather recently the boys and I decided we needed to build snowmen.  We made an Ajay snowman and a Maddox snowman.  Maddox really liked licking his snowman's face for some odd reason.  Snow angels were also a high priority.

Decorating the tree

We decorated the Christmas tree this past weekend.  The boys decided that they would decorate it their own way.   All the lights and garland were nicely bunched in the bottom front of the tree.  I figured maybe they needed some help, so we tried decorating it again.

Now the boys keep on asking when Santa is going to come bring their presents.  I told them in about a month.  This morning they woke up and asked me where the presents are.  I'm guessing I will get asked this question many more times over the next month.

My 30th Birthday

This past weekend we celebrated my 30th birthday with some friends and family by going out to the Olive Garden for supper and cake at our house afterwards.  Ajay and Maddox could hardly wait for the cake, they kept on asking me if it is time yet.

Family Photo shoot

This past September we had our family photos taken by our friend Kelly Bik, of Kelly Bik Photography at St. Vital Park.  She did a wonderful job again.  Here are a couple of the shots.

Big News!!

I thought I'd let my loyal readers in our our big news before everyone else knows.  We are expecting BABY No. 3 at the end of next May.  The doctor guesses I am approximately 12 weeks along, though we are going to get an exact date from an ultrasound.  We are all very excited.  The boys can't quite decide whether we are going to have a boy or a girl... or maybe another set of twins.  Ajay has already sung "Rock a bye baby" to my belly.

The boys FOURTH birthday!!!

This past weekend we celebrated the boys fourth birthday with a packed house full of family and friends. The theme of the party this year was spider-man.  This year the boys were really into everything, not wanting to wait until after supper to have the cake and presents.

They got from us the Cars 2 movie, a green lantern playhouse, and Joker playhouse.

The boys favorite present was from Grandpa, two plasma cars.

Happy Halloween!

The boys enjoyed trick or treating this year.  Luckily the weather was warm enough that you did not even need gloves.  Ajay really enjoyed calling "Trick or Treat" really loudly at each house.  We saw some very uniquely decorated houses too.  One house that really scared the people behind us had what looked like a dummy that was hung from a tree, but actually had a real person inside.  Luckily, they didn't scare us because we had little kids with us.

Pancakes!!

This past week at cooking class, the boys and I made buttermilk pancakes.  The pancakes we made to be a little bit healthier by using whole wheat flour, and no additional sugar.  We also had apple sauce and yogurt as toppings in addition to pancake syrup.  They were YUMMY!
