Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween!  I have added some pictures of the kids in their costumes for those of you that are too far away from us to come trick or treating.  Also the two pictures below are monsters that Ajay and Maddox drew at school.

 Amara is the "Butterfly Fairy"

Maddox is Batman, and Ajay is Spiderman.  Ajay really loves his fake muscles.

Amara!! - At about 4 months

Here are some recent pictures of Amara.  She is growing so fast that it seems she hardly wears the outfits she has.  I have some fancy dresses that seem a little to fancy for normal wear so I thought I would just get her to model them for my photoshoot.

I love her little boots... they are glittery silver.

Camp fire

With the cooler weather setting in, we figured it would be a good time for a camp fire... also the first at our new house.  The boys really enjoyed cooking mini colored marshmallows over the fire.  That was all I had, but they were fine with that.  The fire was also good for burning the box full of confidential documents I had been stocking up for awhile.  Reminded me a little of when I was young and we had bonfires to burn old Martens Printing files.

The photo

I was cleaning up my basement a while back and came across an old photo of myself at six months.  I asked my mom about the dress and she had kept it all these years.  I thought it would be cute to take some pictures of Amara in the same dress.  She is not six months yet, but close the the same size I was.  One thing I figured out was that I don't think I could be an infant photographer.  It is terribly hard to get them to sit how you want.  It took many photos before I could get some where she wasn't eating her dress or waving her arms around.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!  Here are the crafts that the boys did at school for Thanksgiving.

The Shed

Our first big project after moving to the new house is building a shed.  The old owners had demolished the old sheds on the property, so we had to quickly build a new one before winter, since the basement is not the place I want to be storing a lawn mower etc.  The boys loved to help Daddy build the shed.
