Lego house

The boys have been busy today working on their Lego house.  It has two levels, garage doors so their cars can get in and even a railway track.  They also have a little garden in the front for their horse to graze in.

The big hair cut adventure

So I finally got sick enough of my tangly long hair that I got it cut.  Now it is a short bob style.  The hair dresser made it wavy, but the likelyhood that is going to happen very often is not too good.

Louis Riel Day

Finally the temperature has risen to a bare able -4 degrees Celsius on a day we all have off.  So we decided to go sledding at our local park. This was Amara's first time sledding.  She wasn't sure what to make of it.  She didn't like the snow spraying her face as we sled down the hill.  I think she liked it better when she faced me instead.  Then her reaction was to say "wee!"

Happy Valentine's Day

We have been having a bad flu go around our house lately.  Ajay has been home from school for two days, so I only got one of this particular craft. Hopefully Maddox will still be healthy tomorrow to go to his Valentine's party.

Playgroup!

We have been hibernating inside for a while now, but this past week Amara and I ventured out to play group.

She had a great time making art.

I think the bouncer reminded her of our trampoline... Which sadly is now broken.

Slam dunk!

She loved this car, she screamed/cried at me when I tried to get her out so that other kids could have a turn.
