Pumpkin Carving Party

This afternoon we had a spur of the moment pumpkin carving party with Auntie Julie.  Ajay really enjoyed digging out the "guts" of the pumpkin, Maddox preferred using a spoon.  Ajay was really upset when I had to cut his pumpkins' eye and mouth out.  I guess he thought I was hurting it.

Boo at the Zoo

Last night we took the boys to "Boo at the Zoo".  This year our whole family dressed up as superheros.  Anton was Luke Cage (Power man), I was Black Widow, Ajay was the Hulk, and Madoox was Wolverine. We all had a Spooktactular time!

The real Luke Cage

Anton as Luke Cage... the chain used to be around his waist, but it kept on falling off.

Family Chefs

This past week the boys and I started a new class called "Family Chefs".  It is a cooking class for kids 3-5 year of age and their parents.  Each week we are going to be making a different meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner etc.)  This past week we made yogurt parfaits.  The kids also got to make their own chefs hats and decorate a cloth apron with puffy paints.  Best of all the program is FREE!

Outdoor Adventures

With meteorologists threatening snow before the end of October, the boys and I enjoyed one last summer-like day in the park.  The park is quite peaceful now that the school kids are all back in school and we were able to have run of the park. We even enjoyed one last chocolate milkshake (the boys favorite) from Sargent Sundae.

Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving!  This past weekend we celebrated Thanksgiving with both sides of the family (though the photos are just from my side of the family)  The boys had a great time playing with second cousins that they have not seen in a while.  We also met the newest member of the family, Felix. (See photos below).

Great Grand-kids hanging out with Great Oma.
