Happy Easter!

We have been having a fun Easter weekend so far, though a little exhausting for the boys as they have colds again and no naps during the day.  We went to my parents yesterday for some Easter activities including a easter egg hunt and egg decorating.  I'm glad I did not try the egg decorating by myself.  The more supervision the better, otherwise I could have some really colorful boys and furniture.

The Trampoline!!

We put up the trampoline yesterday after a long winter of waiting for it to be nice.  The boys love it.  Ajay even told me him that he wanted to stay in there forever.  The boys are also good fitness trainers for Anton and I because they are constantly wanting us to be in there with them.

Eliott's 3rd Birthday!

The boys were invited to their friend Eliott's 3rd birthday last week.  The only kids that Eliott wanted over for his birthday party were Ajay and Maddox.  So cute.  All the boys had a great time, especially playing with the "Cars" race track.

The first BBQ of 2011

Finally today we were able to have our first BBQ of the 2011 season.  It was a beautiful day of approximately plus 15 degrees.  Ahh... I do love spring!!!

CRAFT - bubble art

Again, we are doing a "Mr. Maker" craft.  This one we put glue, paint, dish soap and water into cups and mixed it up.  Then with a straw we blew bubbles.  When we had bubbles we took a piece of paper and laid it on top of the bubbles to make a pattern.  Just remember "Blow and NOT suck".

The boys first Circus!!

 This afternoon we went to see the boy's first circus with Gilles, Carrie, Ashtyn and Keyshawn.  We saw a lion, a panther, baboons, camels, and an elephant.  There were all sorts of acrobats and contortionists.  My favorite act was the "ball of fear", where two guys on motorcycles ride round and round inside a huge ball.  Maddox said his favorite part was the lion, and Ajay said his favorite was the elephant.  Anton's favorite part was the black panther.

CRAFT - splatter paint

This craft was taken straight from the boys favorite show "Mr. Maker".  The watch it pretty much everyday, and will re-watch the same show over and over again.  For this craft we watered down paint and used straws to blow the paint into interesting designs.  It got pretty messy, but the boys loved it.
