The boys at work

The boys have pretty much taken over the foyer and hallway as their play area.  Right now the hallway is an art gallery.  They really enjoyed making pictures with Crayola Colour Expolsion paper.  It is special paper that is black and when you use their special marker it turns what you draw into a colourful design.

 The foyer is constantly full of a variety of items.  Sometimes they pretend it is their house and it is so full of stuff we can hardly open the front door.  They have really been enjoying the blocks (in the blue box) that their Opa had made for them.  Sometimes I find the blocks randomly stuck to the wall with tape.

Happy Valentine's Day

The boys celebrated Valentine's Day at school this past Monday.  They were really excited about all the valentines and candy that they got in their valentine's bags.

The boys made these hearts in school.  The bottom right heart was made by Maddox.  He said that each of the little pink and red hearts were for mommy, daddy, Ajay and himself.  The little white heart at the top is for the baby.

The work next door begins...

After many years of having an abandoned house next door to us, we are finally seeing some change.  That change is that the house is now gone of course.  We were all excitedly watching as the house was demolished and carried away.  When the digger was chopping out the concrete foundation our house shook.  Our snow also became a particular shade of beige.

Kindergarten Open house

Last night we went to the boy's kindergarten open house.  It sounds like they will have a lot of fun next year.  Maddox really liked when he heard that they would get to make cookies.  We also had a chance to look around the classroom.  The boys loved the play area under the teachers office.  Right now it was made into a post office, but we were told that throughout the year it was a Boston Pizza, a spaceship and many other places.  They loved it so much that they asked to go to their new school this morning.

Baby bump update

I currently am 21 weeks along, though the picture below is from 19 weeks.  Right now at 21 weeks the baby is approximately 10 1/2" from head to heel and 12.70 ounces.  I am feeling the baby move quite a bit lately.

Fun at Play group

Every week the boys and I find a bit of time to go to some play groups.  In the photos below we are at a gym play group at a church.  Funny thing about this church is that it looks like the church I grew up in.
