Soccer wind-up

Soccer is officially over and summer vacation has started.  We had the soccer wind-up tonight and the boys received their medals.

Happy 2nd Birthday Amara!

This afternoon we celebrated Amara's 2nd birthday with a bunch of family and friends. The theme for the birthday was Elmo and Abby Caddaby since these are some of her favorite characters right now.

I made the Elmo cake myself, and if I can say this I think I did a pretty good job for someone that hasn't made that many birthday cakes.

In addition to the cupcakes I made Elmo cupcakes.

Bubbles are fun at all ages.

I had fruit/ veggie and cheese plates in the shape of Elmo, Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch.

End of school stuff

The boys grade 1 class as well as the other grade 1/2 class put on a musical for the school and their families. The musical was called the best pet show ever.  Both Ajay and Maddox had speaking parts.  They did great!

The same day was also the boys school picnic.  Sadly it was not a good day for a picnic since it was rainy.  A lot of the eating and other activities happened inside.  Amara and Ajay got colourful hair and all three got their face painted.

Ajay and Maddox have been begging for bikes for a while now, so we decided to get them a super early birthday present.  

They were so happy that they were riding around in the rain.

So I am two days late posting this, but I still want to post some pictures of Anton and the kiddies.

Crazy hair day!

The boys had a crazy hair day at school so we had to go out and find some colourful hair gel.  I think they may have had the craziest hair at school.

Last month we went to the Teddy Bears Picnic.  Typically it was a rainy day but that didn't stop us.
